Hi, I'm Riki...


...and I'm passionate about helping you move better.


I turned to Pilates to alleviate my chronic back pain and found immense relief and empowerment in every session. This journey led me to become an instructor and open my own studio.

I work with competitive athletes to enhance their training with Pilates, and everyday athletes - everyone on their feet for a full shift or stuck at their desks all day - to ease pain, stand taller, get stronger and become more flexible.

What sets me apart is my focus on translating Pilates principles into everyday life. I'll help you understand how each movement benefits you as you feel the changes. I'm committed to helping you unlock your full movement potential.

I currently train with master instructor Chris Robinson, the leading expert on Pilates & Sports. I'm also enrolled in professional Mobility courses with Kelly Starrett of The Ready State, the leading expert on posture and mobility.


Prior to the pandemic, I completed the 450-hour Intermediate Training Program from The Pilates Center in Boulder, CO, and the TheraPilates for Osteoporosis Course with Sherri Betz, an internationally recognized expert on building better bones through exercise.


I've taught mat and equipment classes at InsideOut Body Therapies in Durham, NC, group mat classes at Bull City Running, The Movement Studio, the Durham YMCA, and bespoke classes for private corporate clients.


In addition, I've been honored to be featured as a guest instructor for Balanced Body's short video program BB Breaks and the Be Well-Stay Well online network; to lead Pilates clinics for Forge Fencing, Bull City Running and Chapel Hill Training; and to be featured in Voyage Raleigh and Canvas Rebel as an inspiring entrepreneur. ​
