NEW TO PILATES?
Are you curious about Pilates? Perhaps you've heard about how Pilates can reduce back pain, help prevent injuries or lengthen your muscles for more flexibility. Or maybe you've seen videos of complicated exercises and wondered if you could learn to do them (you can). No matter what brought you here or where you're starting from, you've come to the right place.
Online classes are a great way to hold yourself accountable to a new exercise routine while connecting to others in a fun and supportive environment. All are welcome in Pilates with Riki classes.
If you're active, energetic and free from injury and chronic pain, you can sign up for any group class.
If you have osteopenia or osteoporosis, the Pilates for Active Adults classes will be safest for you.
If you suffer from chronic pain or are more sedentary, beginning with a private session will ensure the best results. You will learn the fundamentals of Pilates and discover how to modify any exercises that are not specifically suited to you. Contact me to discuss schedule and pricing.

Whether you're joining a group class or working out in a private session, I promise you'll feel more energized, coordinated and mentally focused. Don't just take my word for it. ONLINE CLASSES & PRIVATE SESSIONS
Online mat classes are a great way to get yourself moving in the comfort of your own home. You'll stretch, tone and balance your whole body, engaging your innermost muscles and focusing on your breath. Joining the group call each week provides connection with others and truly lifts your spirits. You'll leave each class feeling energized, mentally focused and with a sense of accomplishment.
The nitty-gritty: all classes take place via Zoom and can be booked online. Single 50-minute classes cost $15 and a five-class pass costs $65. Pilates for Progress is a donation-based class on Wednesdays with a sliding payment scale. Pilates for Active Adults classes are safe for those with osteopenia or osteoporosis. For those new to Pilates, this is your starting point. By investing in private sessions, you'll give yourself a foundation for the more challenging exercises, and you'll move with more grace and control through your everyday activities. Private sessions are also a great way for Pilates enthusiasts to work on modifications or to tackle exercises that you find particularly challenging. PILATES FOR PROGRESS
Feel Good About Your Mid-Week Workout
In this pay-what-you-can, donation-based class, you get the benefit of exercising, while others benefit from your targeted financial contribution. Each month we will raise money for a specific non-profit organization. Proceeds will be announced here at the end of the month. Donations can be made on a sliding scale from $5 - 100.
November's contributions will go to Durham Public Schools Foundation. Founded in 2018, this community-led effort brings together business and civic leaders to build innovative and equitable public schools where every student can flourish. DPS Foundation supports the professional growth of teachers, runs a program to ensure digital equity for all DPS families, and works to dismantle systemic racism in our schools.
